How To Get An Ex Back

Did you just break up? Wondering how to go get your ex back? Pretty much everybody's gone through a break up, and most just work on moving on and getting on with their lives, because they don't see getting back together with their ex as an option. But just because you broke up, does it mean that getting back together with your ex is not an option?

The thing is, the vast majority of the time there's really no reason why you can't get an ex back after a break up, as long as you know the necessary steps.

The first step is figuring out exactly what happened to cause the break up. Even though you can't go back and fix what happened, you can learn from your mistakes and grow from the experience. Maybe it happened because of a particular event, or maybe it happened because of behaviors that were repeated over time until one or the other of you snapped.

Whatever it was that led to the breakup, you need to figure it out so you'll be prepared if it should ever start to happen again. You can get your ex back if you approach it the right way, but if you want to make it work long term, you have to figure out what went wrong in the first place.

The next step is to make sure that you're not coming off as needy. Maybe you feel like you just can't live without your ex, but neediness is not attractive. (Think about someone in your life who was needy and clingy; how did they make you feel? Were you attracted to them, or did they make you want to run away? Yeah, I thought so...)

Instead of letting them know how much you need them right now, let your ex believe that you're doing just fine without them. If you're self-reliant and self-confident, you'll be a hundred times more attractive to your ex. Remember: confidence is sexy.

A word of caution: trying to make your ex jealous is not the way to go here. In fact, that's probably the worst thing you can do: it may convince them to move on because they believe you've already moved on. While you want your ex to believe that you're doing ok, you don't want to make them think they should move on if what you really want is to get back together with them.

The best way to approach this is to have a plan; one that's been proven to work again and again. My pick here is "T Dub" Jackson's "Magic of Making Up System".
